DAY 01: CHANDIGARH – SHIMLA (05 HR)

 

Welcome to Chandigarh and proceed to Shimla by enjoying a scenic drive. On arrival at Manali, Check in to the hotel and overnight stay

 

DAY 02: SHIMLA – SANGLA (08 HR)

 

The morning after breakfast, Checkout from the hotel and drive towards Sangla through the thick woods of Kufri, Fagu and Narkanda and alongside the River Sutlej

 

On arrival, Check in to the hotel and enjoy the evening in beautiful surroundings in the river valley of Baspa at a height of 9000ft. This is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himalayas and is often compared to the famous valley of Kashmir. Known for its rich Kinnauri culture and apple orchards, this valley was opened for tourists only in 1993 for its close proximity to the Tibetan border.

 

Return back to hotel and overnight stay

 

DAY 03: SANGLA – CHITKUL – KALPA

 

The morning after breakfast, Checkout from the hotel and explore the vicinity around including an ancient Kamru Fort & Temple dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam & Nages God.

 

Later head towards Chitkul (01 hr) – a last Village on Old Indo – Tibetan Trade Route.

 

Walkthrough green orchards & brilliant stream. Evening Drive to Kalpa (03 hr) and overnight stay

 

DAY 04: KALPA TOUR

 

Kalpa is famous for its Apples & Chilgoza Plantations [a kind of Dry Fruits], which are found only in Iran & Turkey besides here. The tree belongs to the Pine Family & the fruit is in about an inch long softcover.

 

Early morning enjoys the Sunrise over Kinner Kailash Peaks. After breakfast, visit the local School & Narayan Nagini Temple Complex, which has Shrines of Hindu, Buddhist & local Deities.

 

Later proceed to Roghi Village by walk to explore the ‘Pahari’ Life. Interact with the locals. Return back to hotel and overnight stay

 

DAY 05: KALPA – SARAHAN- SHIMLA (07 HR)

 

The morning after breakfast, Checkout from the hotel and drive to Shimla on the way visit Sarahan which is known for Bhimakali temple, dedicated to the Mother Goddess Bhimakali, presiding deities of former Bushahr State. On arrival at Shimla, Check in to the hotel and overnight stay

 

DAY 06: SHIMLA – CHANDIGARH & DEPARTURE

 

The morning after breakfast, Checkout from the hotel and transfer to Chandigarh airport for your onward journey
